Description
Silicone Coated Fibreglass Sleeve is an aerospace grade* sleeve made of woven E glass yarn in a flexible sleeve form, then coated with high grade flame retardant silver/grey or red silicone rubber.- Silicone coated sleeve is designed to pretect wires, hoses, and cables from the hazards of high heat and occasional flame.
– Expands easily over couplings or flanges.
– Guards against molten metal splash, radiant heat, abrasion, corrosive atmosphere, moisture, chemicals, vibration and electricity.
– Prevents exposure to hydraulic fluids.
– Prevents residue from accumulating on pipes and hoses.
– Protects employees from incurring scorching burn injuries from hot braided hoses and pipes.
– Insulates against energy loss in pipe and hosing.
– Excellent moisture resistance makes it ideal for outside use.
– Allows “bundling” of wires, hoses and cables.
